Shaping Mental Well-being:The Pupil International School's Mental Health Day

On World Mental Health Day, The Pupil International School acknowledges its significance by organizing a series of events. Our commitment extends beyond mere awareness. We are dedicated to equipping our students with the knowledge and tools necessary to enhance their mental well-being. The day commenced with an enlightening guest lecture by our esteemed school counselor, Ms. Sasikala, a renowned expert in the field of mental health. Her presentation delved into various aspects of mental well-being, emphasizing the importance of seeking help and fostering kindness in our interactions. Ms. Sasikala's profound insights provided a comprehensive guide for addressing and improving mental health.

Ms. Sasikala stressed the importance of fostering an open and accepting atmosphere where individuals can freely share their feelings and challenges without fear of judgment. Her address resonated deeply with the audience, leaving them with a profound awareness of the significance of mental health and the imperative to extend support to one another. Form 4 and Form 7 students collaboratively presented a highly informative session, underscoring the day's importance and providing practical tips for enhancing mental health. Attendees left the assembly with valuable insights and actionable takeaways to improve their mental well-being.

A Symphony of Culture: The Pupil International School's Grand Onam Festival

The harvest festival of Kerala, Onam was celebrated with vibrant cultural fervor at The Pupil International School, hosted by Form 5 students. The festivities commenced with a special guest, King Mahabali  being welcomed to witness how his people marked Onam. King Mahabali shared his story, and students sang "Maaveli naadu vannidum kaalam," emphasizing equality and happiness during his reign.The event featured graceful thiruvathira dance performances , a skit illustrating the diverse flavors of the traditional feast 'Onasadhya' , and discussions about Onam traditions like Vallamkali, Pulikali, and Kathakali .The students presented a heartfelt farewell to King Mahabali with an energetic boat song dance, enthusiastically joined by the audience with the true spirit of Onam. The diligent preparation by Form 5 students resulted in a memorable day enjoyed by all.
