What is The Pupil’s Uniform Policy?

All students are required to wear The Pupil school uniform while at school. This consists of grey pants/skirts, shirts in five different colours and black athletic shoes. Students can choose to wear any of the five shirts on any day. Uniforms are provided on campus at the beginning of every academic year, and parents/guardians can choose to purchase as many sets as they require.

What are the additional languages offered at The Pupil?

Aside from English being the primary language of instruction in all classes, students can choose Tamil, Hindi, as their second and third language from Std. 1.

What kind of extracurricular activities are offered at The Pupil?

We at The Pupil consider extracurriculars to be so integral to the all-round development of an individual, that we refer to them as para-academics. How does The Pupil prepare students for higher education?

The Pupil provides a rigorous and comprehensive academic program for students of Classes IX-XII to prepare them to enter some of the top institutions in the nation and the world.
For students who opt for the Engineering and Medical tracks in Classes XI & XII, The Pupil offers an Integrated Coaching Program, which trains students for their board exams, entrance exams and competitive exams within school hours.
How does The Pupil support students with special education needs?

In keeping with The Pupil’s philosophy of inclusiveness and nurturing children with different learning styles, Divyam provides three supportive services, namely PALS (Pupil Academic Learning Support), Transitions and NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling).

Yes! KCal is a new initiative of The Pupil to provide nutritious and delicious food to students and faculty and nurture growing minds and bodies. Yes! For more focussed and intensive training in para-academics, Pupilites can enroll for the following After-School classes: Archery, Art & Clay Modelling, Athletics, Basketball, Cambridge YLE, Classical Dance, Cricket, Football, Guitar, Gymnastics (Advanced), Karate, Keyboard, Swimming (Advanced), Taekwondo, Textile Printing, Vocal Music, and Yoga (Advanced).

Yes! The Pupil offers transportation to students who live in designated places within a 10 km radius from the school campus.

Is there an entrance exam for admissions? 

The admissions process does involve a short interaction with designated admissions personnel and a placement test. These are just ways for us to gauge how well the prospective student will fit into their requested grade level and to determine how best we can support their unique learning style. They are NOT intended to be punitive or a weed-out measure of any kind.

How do I register for After-School classes?

A circular will be sent out at the beginning of every academic year, detailing the various After-School activities available along with their timings and payment details. Students can opt for anyone or two After-School activities.
